Elefant este o trupa de indie rock formata la inceputul anilor 2000 la New York de catre solistul Diego Garcia - nascut la Detroit din parinti argentieni, fascinat de Iggy Pop, si absolvent de Brown University (!). Quite the combo. Piesele Elefant te duc cu gandul la David Bowie, Morrissey, The Cure, Siouxsie & The Banshees, cu un sound exuberant si "polished" asa cum ii sta bine unei trupe de gen formata in NYC. Similar sounds: She Wants Revenge, stellastarr*, Interpol, The Fever, etc.
