The Divine Comedy s-a format in Irlanda de Nord pe la sfarsitul anilor '80, dar in toti acesti ani singurul membru constant al trupei a ramas Neil Hannon (voce). Au 9 albume la activ, cel mai recent fiind lansat in 2006 (Victory for the Comic Muse - I highly recommend it)
