4-piece alternative rock band from Scotland. The group formed in Glasgow in 2003 and have released two studio albums - A Strange Education (2007) and Love and Terror (2009). Their most recent release is the Silent Scream EP which came out in May, 2010.

Music video for "100 Other Lovers", the first single from DeVotchKa's new album 100 Lovers, out now. Directed by Chloe Rodham.

Almost reminiscent of short animation films nominated at the Oscar Awards, DeVotchKa's "100 Other Lovers" uses stop-motion to depict the heart wrenching tale of a of a Babushka and her collection of birds. DeVotchKa utilizes a grand scheme of trickery through use of an upbeat, head-bopping melodic line accompanied by sad, woeful lyrics. "100 Other Lovers" is the title track of the band's new album, in stores now!
